Happy Grieving

Grief Trips - travel with people who get it

A Grief Trip is six to seven nights, somewhere beautiful, with eight to twelve people who all know what it is to lose someone. Grief workshops. One-to-one time. Long dinners where nobody has to explain why they went quiet. And real travel, because grief doesn't pause life, and life shouldn't have to pause for grief.

I host every trip personally. I started them because travelling after my dad died, with people who understood, let me feel my grief differently. Not fixed. Not bypassed. Held.

This is not a wellness retreat

There are no green juices being sold as answers here, and nobody will ask you to manifest anything. A Grief Trip is also not therapy, and I'm not a therapist. It is company, in motion: the thing that actually helped, made repeatable.

Since 2024, groups of us have travelled through Portugal, Bali, Spain, Australia and the Maldives. Some people come on the first anniversary. Some come eight years later. Most arrive as strangers and leave with a group chat that never goes quiet.

The trip made me feel less alone, seen, and alive. If you feel lost, going on a grief trip will bring you community, hope, and many beautiful moments of peace.
