Happy Grieving

The questions you're afraid to ask

There are questions grievers type into their phones at 2am that they would never say at a dinner table. Is it normal to laugh already. Why do I feel nothing. Am I doing this wrong.

After five years of listening to this community, I can tell you: so many of you have asked me the same questions, quietly, certain you were the only one. You never were.

These pieces answer them the way a friend who gets it would. Not clinically, not with stages and checklists, just honestly. The short version of almost every answer is the same: whatever your grief is doing right now, someone else's grief has done it too, and it does not mean you are broken.

The long versions are below. Take the one you need.
